yesterday, leslie overheard me tell john how sad i was that i wasn't into the christmas spirit yet this year. (i think homework and finals just take the all the christmas cheer out of me! {and the fact that i am homebound [we only have one care you know] and cannot go christmas shopping!}) well, leslie took that to heart {she is awesome!} and now our whole house is decorated. we came home from our ward christmas party to a house that was both christmas looking and christmas smelling. also, the tree skirt and santa outfit were leslie's idea. there was a three-year-old in our ward that sat on john's lap and asked for a "present" for christmas. and then he gave her a candy cane. it was precious!
