beach photos

my mom's birthday present request: new portraits of the girls.  and since we looked cute last sunday, and i have been meaning to take beach photos of the girls for FOREVER, we just randomly decided to go to the pier and shoot some photos and see if we got anything good.  and boy, did we!  in fact, we got so many good ones that i will probably have to post another batch another day.  my girls were looking SO CUTE and were being so cooperative with the promise of treats when we got home.

easter weekend in AZ

THE ENTIRE BRUNT FAMILY GATHERED FOR EASTER!  some kind of wonderful miracle.  too much delicious food and fun cousin time.  plus, it was swimming heaven for these two fishies:

baby sister comes to visit

Jenna is going on a mission in August to Edmonton, Canada. Super thrilled for her and also superthrilled that we got to host her for a few days over her spring break. We went to our favorite spot, 22nd street in Hermosa, as well as Venice beach boardwalk (for the people watching and salt and straw obviously), Manhattan Beach Pier, and Disneyland of course! What a treat.

my sister and her fiance visited us in august.  we have also been having some wonderful (albeit HOT) solo disney days!  we are so lucky that this gets to be our "thing"

utah summer

we hiked up in sundance for the brunt family reunion.  hazel hiked almost 7 miles ALL BY HERSELF

my sister got engaged to the greatest guy, and i got to hide in the bushes and take pictures!  (edit:  1.5 years late and i have yet to edit and deliver those photos to them. FACEPALM)

we went to wheeler farm with cousin claire, i took hazel and cora to the greatest (and most dangerous) parks from my chilhood.

we went on several trips to the cabin, daily to the swimming pool, and for a hike around silver lake.

wow, a full month of no blogging.  i don't think i have gone that long without blogging in a long, long time!  with instagram these days, i have become less and less motivated to blog, since i can "journal" about my life quickly and efficiently there.  but, since i can't post ALL of my photos on instagram, i still need this blog to post everything.  because, let's face it.  the girls are adorable and each photo needs to be saved, and each moment documented.  

so, here's some disney photos of one of our recent trips.  daddy met up with us after work, as well as mimi and grandpa.  i'm loving getting more and more familiar with the parks and, most importantly, where to feed my picky kids! ;)

aunt eden comes to visit!

the girls were in HEAVEN this past week when aunt eden came to visit us.  we went to the beach several times, visited santa monica pier, and hit disneyland one day (hazel was thrilled to be going on all the big kid rides with eden!)  it was so much fun having her, and i have been begging her to come back soon ever since!
