sometimes, the sibs and i go to 5 guys.

yesterday, sam, eden, and i went to five guys for some delicious food and some sibling bonding time. we ate burgers. we chatted about life and change and the future. we laughed. we laughed a great deal when sam inadvertently dumped cajun seasoning into his eyes. {i'm still laughing out loud just thinking about it.} and finally, we took pictures. and sam and eden refuse to smile nicely in any picture whatsoever.  so, umm.... enjoy!

last night, we were in turkey-bacon-burger/cheese-fries heaven.

we also inhaled some strawberry shortcake. {thanks, muti}

and watched episodes of 24 until far too late.

it's days like these that remind me how terribly important john is to me, {like seriously, life without john would just be bland, boring, tragic, and all-around unlivable....} and that since we've been married i have been the happiest i have ever been in my whole entire life.  although we make mistakes and sometimes hurt one-another, each day our life together only gets better.  neither of us are perfect, but we are perfect together.  and that's what matters.  dear john:  thanks for loving me, taking care of me, humoring me, forgiving me, and taking me out for burgers and cheese fries.  i love you the most.

john and i are pretend-parents for the weekend while my parents are in california.  we were willing to take care of the youngest chillins because my parents haven't been on a real vacation for just them two for about 10.7 years.  and let's face it - we kinda love spending time with the rugrats anyway.

yesterday, there were disasters.  by disasters i mean, no one got hurt, but well - we had an unfortunate plumbing problem.  and john was at work so..... guess who had to try and fix said plumbing problem?

let's just say, it was an adventure.  

in the end, john saved the day.  but i cried once and dry heaved about twenty times.

anyways, glad to say the plumbing is fixed in my parent's household.  and i've learned that there's pretty much nothing that john wouldn't do for me.  {cause let's face it, that is true love}.

after the small excitement, the girls went to the young women's conference, 

and the boys went to mcdonald's and then came home and played video games, {obviously}.

after the conference, we took these at five-guys:

and in all honesty, we have had so much fun playin with the neff's.  who doesn't love this:

after many hours cramming my brain-

and watching byu get slaughtered in 5-minute overtime,

we decided we need food.

{i was turning into moody, grouchy, don't-look-at-me-i'm-volatile paige.  what with the outcome of the game, combined with no food, well, just ask shmohn.....}

a lot of the time, actually.

and they usually include food, ice cream, and a movie.

they actually all the time do.

then we rented despicable me,

and watched it while snuggling on the couch.
